Ridgewood is a village in Bergen County, New Jersey, in the United States of America with a population of approximately 24,936.  Ridgewood is an affluent suburb northwest of Midtown Manhattan and was created on November 20,1894.

It is a full service community featuring their own English Tudor style highschool, a re-known hospital, numerous restaurants and a water company.  The town has been known as The Village of Ridgewood and sometimes referred to as the ” Childrens Village of Ridgewood” due to an abundance of activities.

New Jersey Transit services the rail lines linking up with Hoboken and New York City.  In addition, there is a local Bus Terminal linking up with the county seat of Hackensack and New York City.
